Short summary

This hotfix follows the July Update and focuses mainly on stability and bug cleanup. The most important notes for everyday play are crash fixes, vehicle-related corrections, weapon sighting fixes and several quest, hunting and inventory adjustments.

What changed

  • Fixed a server crash that could happen when a client closed the game immediately after starting a connection.
  • Fixed client crashes linked to another player taking the last bite of food and to driving vehicles at high speed.
  • Fixed vehicle issues involving disappearing locks, Dinghy operation at certain locations and accessing vehicles through base building floors from adjacent levels.
  • Fixed several weapon and bow problems, including Blackline Compound Bow sight alignment, Ripper Bow aiming offset and clipping or grip issues on bows and the VHS2.
  • Fixed kill quest completion when the target was first damaged with the wrong weapon type, Hunter Monocular zoom adjustment, Bait Feeder clipping movement and the Deer Skull Trophy recipe requiring the wrong head.

What it means for players

  • Players should see fewer disruptive crashes, especially around connecting, shared food interactions and high-speed vehicle use.
  • Base owners and raiders should note the fix for accessing vehicles through base building floors, as this closes an unintended interaction mentioned in the patch notes.
  • Archery and weapon users may need to re-check aim feel after the bow sight, grip and offset fixes.
  • Hunters and quest-focused players should benefit from fixes to kill quest completion, monocular zoom and trophy crafting requirements.

Impact on SCUM.SK

For SCUM.SK readers and server communities, this is mainly a stability and fairness hotfix rather than a content update. The server crash fix and vehicle/base interaction fixes are the most relevant for multiplayer reliability and community trust, but the article does not mention any required server-side setting changes.
