The latest SCUM hotfix fixes a quest progress loading and display issue introduced by the previous hotfix. The developers state that no progress was lost, including progress made while the issue was active.
The second hotfix for the August Update addresses community-reported crashes, a server-join problem, Twitch Drops access, TEC1 Research Facility loot issues and metabolism tuning. Nutrient absorption from all food has also been increased while wider food feedback is still under review.
The post-August Update hotfix targets urgent issues reported by players, including crashes, TEC1 Research Facility quest problems, Apex Mutant Bear behavior, recipe fixes and world collision issues.
The Into the Wild August Update adds an underground TEC1 Research Facility, new Master Hunter quests with mutant bears, expanded cooking and Food Effects changes. It also introduces Cloning Sickness for repeated respawns and launches the separate Stalker Outfit Pack.
